When I got involved in 4-H at 12 years old, I had no idea how much I would learn about people, leadership, food insecurity, and the global needs around the world. I got involved in 4-H to help start a community garden that would provide fresh fruits and vegetables to community members in need.

ABC’s “American Idol” and 4-H Announce a 4-H Audition Day in Collaboration with “Idol Across America”
4-H is going to Hollywood! On Friday, September 24, the award-winning singing competition “American Idol” on ABC will host a dedicated, virtual audition day with 4-H, the largest youth development organization in the country. Through this collaboration with “American Idol” and National 4-H Council, 4-H singers nationwide will audition over Zoom for a chance to become America’s next singing sensation.

4-H Teens Drive Digital Inclusion in Under-Resourced Communities by Teaching Digital Employability Skills to Over 50,000 Adults
National 4-H Council is announcing a vast expansion of its 4-H Tech Changemakers program supported by Verizon, Microsoft, Land O’Lakes, Inc. and Tractor Supply Company. Established in 2017 with support from Microsoft, 4-H Tech Changemakers trains and equips teens to teach adults digital employability skills that include online job seeking, social media marketing, software use, and more.
